Introduction

Our goal is to provide quality and compassionate care to all our patients in a timely manner, and appointments are in high demand, please notify us as soon as possible if you cannot keep your appointment.

To reduce the number of no shows and late cancellations, FHP Dental enforces a strict cancellation policy.

Appointment Cancellation

At FHP Dental, we may take a deposit when you make an appointment. Our practice requires that in the event you have to re-schedule or cancel an appointment, you must notify us two business day (48 hours) in advance; phone messages left on the answering machine over the weekend do not qualify as 48-hours notice for Monday appointments.

We will always try to be as flexible as possible, and the deposit will be refunded if you subsequently cancel the appointment with more than 48-hours notice. However, FHP Dental reserves the right to retain your deposit in case of late cancellations (any cancellation with less than 48-hours notice).

"No Shows" & Late Cancellation

When an appointment is cancelled with less than 48-hours notice, it makes it difficult for us to offer the available slot to those who are on a waiting list, and thus prevents our clinicians from providing the best possible care to all our patients.

A no-show is when a patient misses an appointment without cancelling; a cancellation is considered late when the appointment is cancelled less than 48-hours before the appointed time.

In either case, this will result in a full charge of the appointment fee.

We will always try to be sensitive to personal circumstances in the event of late cancellations.
